Purpose: skpm1405-80 pointer type plant water potential pressure chamber is used to measure the water potential of leaves or branches of succulent, herbaceous and woody plants. By measuring the water potential of plant objects, plant drought resistance indexes can be inferred to provide necessary data support for plant growth research.

Principle: the blade or branch of the instrument is clamped in the sample chamber and pressurized by gas to observe the pressure when the first drop of tissue fluid exudes. At this time, the pressure value is the water potential value of plant like tissue.
